The Christening:
a very special celebration
Baptism is a unique and unrepeatable event in the life of a child and his family.
My goal is to make a photograph that keeps in mind the details of this intense day.
At the end of the day, everything that made it complete - the moments, the farm, the food, the decor, the clothes... - disappears in the continuous line of time.
Photography, on the other hand, stays with you and your loved ones, for the years to come.
A real memory box that helps us grow into what we will be.
Deixamos Fluir?
Todas as crianças são diferentes e bonitas à sua maneira.
Quer o seu filho seja mais tímido ou um "espalha brasas", o meu objetivo é que a criança se sinta bem.
Por isso, coloco sempre o seu bem-estar em primeiro lugar.
Não forço poses, nem peço sorrisos de forma insistente.
As crianças dão-nos isso de forma espontânea e verdadeira.
E são essas as melhores fotografias.
O dia do batizado pode ser um dia intenso e cansativo para toda a família,
mas especialmente para os mais pequenos.
São raras as crianças que não fazem birras. Faz parte da infância e não faço julgamentos
sobre a forma de educar de cada família.
Na verdade, esses momentos também são uma oportunidade para fazer
fotografias autênticas, bonitas e emotivas.

Fotografias Intemporais
Os batizados são oportunidades de reencontro com pessoas
que são importantes para nós e que devem poder ser lembradas no futuro.
Hoje em dia, tirar uma fotografia é tão fácil e corriqueiro
que nos esquecemos da função importantíssima
que tem na nossa vida: a memória.
No momento em que é feita não nos apercebemos do valor que tem.
Mas se virmos uma fotografia com dez, vinte, trinta anos...
Somos imediatamente transportados para "aquela época".
Lembramo-nos do que sentimos, de quem éramos,
de quem estava connosco, do que vivemos nessa altura.
E se forem fotografias que contem uma história essa capacidade é amplificada em mil vezes.

Após esta primeira abordagem, é combinado uma conversa por telefone, online e/ou um encontro presencial.
Assim, podemos conhecer-nos, conversar sobre os seus planos e o que é importante para si,
bem como esclarecer quaisquer dúvidas que permaneçam.
How would you like to have your photographs?
Taking the photographs is just one part of the process. After the baptism, there is post-production work, which includes a rigorous selection of the best photographs and image treatment.
From this work, you can choose to have your photographs in several ways:
In digital format
You can opt for a personalized pendrive, save them in the cloud or on an external disk. I keep your photos for at least one year. However, I recommend having two backups of your own to avoid loss.
Short video story
It is an audiovisual presentation that tells the story of the photo session, accompanied by music.
Photo album
The most classic and best way to tell your family's story is in a book. It allows you to create a narrative and, over time, it is an object that only gains more value. It's a practical and easy way to review photos, for you and your children.
Printed photographs
You can also choose to print some of your photos to place in frames. I offer the option of fineart printing, that is, of great quality and durability over time, achieved by combining the best pigment inks and acid-free paper (which causes changes in photographs over time).
